Leucanthemum superbum 'Madonna', commonly known as Shasta Daisy, is a compact perennial that produces large, crisp white flowers with bright yellow centres from early to midsummer. Its pretty blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, while also making excellent long lasting cut flowers. The dark green succulent like foliage forms tidy clumps that are well suited to borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator plantings. 'Madonna' is easy to grow, thrives in sunny locations with well drained soil, and benefits from deadheading to encourage additional blooms. This reliable perennial returns year after year, bringing bright colour and classic charm to the summer garden.

Culture

This plant is grown in a soiless media in a 2L pot. The coco liner on top of the soil reduces moisture loss and prevents the growth of weeds within the pot. It is 100% organic coconut fiber and has no synthetic materials.  When planting, you can keep the liner below the plant and it will break down and enhance the soil over time. Please do not bury the liner in the soil or under mulch. Only apply mulch up to the soil liner.
