Return & Refund Policy
At Stranded Nursery & Gardens, I take great care to provide healthy, high-quality plant material. Your satisfaction matters greatly to me, and I am happy to help if something isn’t right. Please review the return and refund policy below.
Return/Refund Window
You have 30 days (1 month) from the date of purchase (if shopping in person), or 30 days (1 month) from the date of delivery to request a return, refund, or exchange. You must have your order number or receipt with your when requesting a return/refund/exchange.
Live Plant Returns
Because live plants are perishable and sensitive to environmental conditions, I can only accept returns or issue refunds under specific circumstances. Please reach out and ask about how to properly maintain and care for your plant(s) if you are unsure.
Eligible Returns, Refunds and Exchanges:

A plant is eligible for a return or refund only if it can be determined that the issue with the plant originated from Stranded Nursery & Gardens (such as a pest infestation or disease present at purchase/delivery).

Unplanted plants may be returned or exchanged if you’ve changed your mind or are uncertain about keeping them, AS LONG AS: they are undisturbed and have not been pruned or tampered with, are still growing in their original pot and soil, are in the same healthy condition as they were when sold, and remain pest and disease free.

These plants can be exchanged for another plant (or plants) of equal value, or returned for a refund of the original purchase price.

- Damage or death of plants caused by acts of nature that WERE PERSONALLY GUARANTEED would not occur (e.g., guaranteeing that deer will not eat your plant(s), but they are eaten by the deer anyway).
Not Eligible for Return, Refund or Exchange:
- Plants that die or decline due to improper care, lack of maintenance, or incorrect growing conditions. All relevant care information is available on my website for every plant, and plant info sheets are available online and when browsing in person at the nursery.
- Damage or death of plants caused by acts of nature that WERE NOT PERSONALLY GUARANTEED to you (e.g., naturally occurring damage or death of your plant(s) caused by pests, animals, disease, weather [drought, floods, windburn, hard frosts...] etc.).
- All sales of discounted plants from sales, promotional offers, clearance offers, etc. are final. Thank you for understanding.
If your request is determined to be eligible, you may choose one of the following options:

A full refund of the original purchase price of the plant(s) in question, or
-
A replacement plant (or plants) of equal value, provided at no cost.
I may request photos and additional information to assess the condition of the plant before approving a return or replacement.
Seed Returns
Due to the perishable and variable nature of seeds, all seed sales are final.
We do not accept returns or issue refunds on any seed purchases. All relevant growing information is readily available on my website, and species specific instructions are available on every plant's product page. Seeds cannot be guaranteed to grow because of the highly variable environments they will be exposed to after being sold.
How to Request a Return/Refund/Exchange
To initiate a return, please contact me within the allotted window of time at strandednurseryreturns@gmail.com with:

Your order number and a copy of your receipt

Clear photos of the plant in question

A brief explanation of the issue.
I will review your request and will respond to you as soon as possible with the next steps.
