Peppermint Stick Zinnia is a colourful annual that produces large flowers in a mix of white, cream, pink, red, and orange, often with unique speckled or striped patterns. Zinnias bloom continuously from early summer until the first frost, providing long-lasting colour in garden beds, borders, and containers. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, while regular deadheading encourages even more blooms throughout the season. This plant thrives in sunny locations with well drained soil and is an excellent choice for cut flower gardens thanks to its long lasting blooms. Before picking or cutting flowers, wiggle the flower stalk. If it is floppy and wiggles, it is not ready to be cut. If it is rigid and moves with the plant, it can be cut.
