Dwarf Jewel Nasturtium is a compact Nasturtium variety that produces masses of bright red, orange, yellow, and cream flowers from early summer until the first frost. It features rounded, lily pad like leaves that create an attractive backdrop for its colourful blooms. The flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, while both the leaves and flowers are edible and have a mild peppery flavour that makes them a popular addition to salads. This easy growing variety thrives in full sun and often flowers best in average to poorer soils rather than rich ones. Its compact size makes it an excellent choice for borders, containers, hanging baskets, and vegetable gardens.
